Target Your Future (TYF) is an extension of the required Career Planning Course (BA 101) designed specifically for transfer students. BA 101 will help you build a foundation for an effective career search process, and TYF will go more in depth with small group seminars.
You will have the opportunity to speak with employers, advisors and your peers about career-related issues and get answers to those questions and concerns you may have. The program is tailored to meet your needs and wants based on what you indicate on your application.TYF will:
Apply online between Sept. 4 and 21. TYF is limited to 30 spaces.
TYF meets every Tuesday from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m., beginning Oct. 2 and running through Nov.13.
Your participation allows you to meet and develop informal, professional relationships with hard-working, high-achieving students who are motivated to begin the internship and job-search process and eager to meet employers. You will discover that meeting with these students will increase the likelihood that they will apply for positions with your company.
You can participate in two different ways:
1. TYF Program - Participate as a guest speaker, panelist, company field trip host or mock interview participant. TYF topics will be career-related and tailored to meet the students’ needs.
2. Sponsor - Sponsor the TYF Program through lunches, dinners, receptions, materials and company field trips.
