Getting to Campus from the Airport

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is located 8 miles southeast of downtown Austin. Please allow 60 to 90 minutes travel time between the airport and the Red McCombs School of Business, more if you arrive at peak traffic hours, or plan to rent a car. As you exit the airport, head west on State Highway 71. Continue on SH 71 until you reach the northbound exit for Highway 183. Take Hwy. 183 north to the 7th Street exit, where you will exit westbound (left). Continue on 7th Street until you reach the access road for IH-35, where you will turn north (right). Proceed on the access road until you reach the exit for Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., then turn west (left). McCombs Career Services Locations

The McCombs Career Services is located in the Red McCombs School of Business at 2100 Speedway, two blocks north of Brazos Garage on the northwest corner of Speedway and 21st Street. Enter the building through the 21st Street entrance near the "family" statue, and take the elevators to the 4th floor. The McCombs Career Services’ interview suites are located in room GSB 4.114, directly across from the elevators. See map of the GSB fourth floorSB fourth floor. The center’s administrative offices are located on the 2nd floor, on the north side of the building, in room CBA 2.116.

Many company presentations and information sessions are held in the University Teaching Center (UTC), located to the south of the McCombs School and connected to the building by a walkway over 21st Street or in the Alumni Center which is located on San Jacinto between 21st and 23rd Streets, directly across from the football stadium.

Parking

Any visitor can park at any of the seven University parking garages on a paid basis. The closest University-operated garage is the Brazos Garage. It is located at 210 E. MLK Blvd. (near intersection of Brazos and MLK). Visitors pay at a centrally located cashier/payment machine. The cost is $8 per day and is subject to availability of spaces. If you are conducting on-campus interviews at the McCombs Career Services, ask about parking validation for the Brazos Garage. Surface lot parking is restricted to University permit holders at all times.
